Piesanos is one of our favorite Italian restaurants for pizza and other delicious meals available here in Gainesville,Fla. off of Archer Road west of I-75. The pizza is one our favorite dishes among other great dishes and is cooked in a stone fired oven. Their garlic rolls are the bomb as well, we recommend them! Enjoy!

I don’t understand how people enjoy the garlic rolls. We found them inedible. Sorry. They were coated on top with butter and garlic, and soaked on the bottom in Italian dressing. They brought us the buns just straight out of the oven without all that stuff and they were delicious that way. We thought the pizza was good, but perhaps not remarkable. Bonus points… We asked for our grandson’s pasta to be light on the butter and they did an excellent job of the custom order. We would go back again as we had a pleasant but unremarkable experience.

Great greeter. Raining out and the greeter jumped to get the door for me and greeted me. She saw I had a laptop and showed me the outlet of I needed it. Very much loved the service. The pizza was delicious as always. Would have led a bit more sauce but still very good quality. The ingredients' flavors leap out to your tongue. Piesanos is good quality and very fair pricing. You really can't go wrong.

We love love Piesanos! Been to the one near the UF campus and the one south of Haile Planation several times and it's been consistently good. The restaurants have a quaint atmosphere and our servers have always been excellent. The food is amazing! Love the complimentary rolls in their signature vinaigrette dressing. Not even sure why that works but it does and we're hooked! (You can request them without the vinaigrette as well but I recommend trying them for yourself.) Their pizzas are awesome, salads excellent, and we've had a variety of Italian entrees... Love their red sauce, meatballs, pasta... Haven't had anything I doesn't thoroughly enjoy. Piesanos is a Gainesville staple for us.

Had a wonderful lunch there today. I had the Stuffed Shells and Meatball Lunch Special and it was outstanding. Took a few minutes to for my meal to cool down enough to eat but that was totally fine. The portion was more than I could eat, so I happily brought home leftovers for my dinner. Their Cesar salad was a bit on the spicy side, and I prefer my rolls without the dessing on them, but I enjoyed them none the less.

Had such a great time at Piesanos! Our server, Deva, was awesome. Very friendly, quick, and made the whole experience even better. We got one of their giant pizzas and it was so good. Perfectly crispy crust, tons of cheese. Definitely hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back! (Hand for size comparison— we underestimated it!!)
